IU Music and Games Society 2025 Arrangement Concert Recap

On November 21st, Indiana University's Music and Games Society put on their fourth annual Arrangement Concert, featuring ten arrangements by IU composers, arrangers, and video game enthusiasts. It was a cold, rainy night but the house was packed full of students, faculty, and community members who came out in force to support the MGS and hear some great video game music! Some great arrangements included a heavy metal headbanger "The Sanctified Mind" from Destiny 2, arranged for trombone choir and drum set, "Cogwork Dancers" from the new Team Cherry game Silksong, and a sleeper hit: the first boss theme from the spin-off game Scooby Doo: First Frights.
